Pashupati Kumar was elected Leader of the Parliamentary Party by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, who challenged Chirag Paswan in the Delhi High Court. And claimed that Pasupati Kumar has been expelled from the LJP. His appointment is not appropriate. For it to be canceled.

The Delhi High Court later rejected Chirag Paswan's arguments during the hearing of the petition, saying the Speaker of the Lok Sabha had every right to take the decision. The High Court questioned how many MPs there are in your party, to which Chirag Paswan's counsel replied that there are a total of six MPs adding me. In response, the High Court said that this is your personal matter and resolving it is also an internal matter.
