Discussion of assembly elections in the meeting of BJP organization

Possibility of getting responsibility for the forthcoming Assembly elections as National Vice President or General Secretary

New Delhi: BJP leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad and Prakash Javadekar, who have been ousted from the Union Cabinet, are likely to be given important posts and responsibilities in the BJP organization. Discussions are currently going on in political circles that the two leaders will be made national vice-president or secretary general and given responsibility for the forthcoming assembly elections.

Last week, the cabinet of the Narendra Modi government was expanded, with key ministers resigning. Among them are Ravi Shankar Prasad and Prakash Javadekar.

Both these leaders are now likely to get important responsibilities in the BJP organization. The debate over whether to hand over the responsibility of one of the states to him in the forthcoming assembly elections is also key.

Sources said that National President JP Singh was present at the BJP headquarters in Delhi today. Nadda had a meeting with the national secretaries. Today's meeting reviewed the various activities of the organization and preparations for the forthcoming assembly elections in five states. The office bearers then met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence and briefed him about the meeting.
