Ayodhya, 16 July 2021 Friday

The two-day meeting of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee has brought good news to the devotees that they will now be able to visit Ramlala in the magnificent Ram Mandir a year earlier, i.e. in 2023. The Ram Mandir complex will be made eco friendly. Necessary facilities for devotees will also be provided here along with adorable paintings of Tretayuga. The entire work on this site will be completed before 2025.

The master plan of the entire Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex was prepared in a two-day meeting of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee held under the chairmanship of Nrupendra Mishra on Thursday. At the same time, deep thought was given to the grandeur and security of the temple.

Earlier, the target was to build a Ram temple by 2024, which has now been shortened to 2023. After 2023, devotees will be able to go to the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and worship God. By 2025 all arrangements will be made in the complete complex. The grandeur of the temple and its security were discussed in depth with technical experts at the meeting.

Trust General Secretary Champat Rai said that retaining walls would be constructed in three directions for protection of water flow, water, etc. to keep the Ram Temple naturally protected. This wall will be built at a depth of up to 12 meters underground.

High quality white marble of Makrana will be used for the uplift of the temple. Sandstone from Vamshi Pahadpura will be used in the windows. The Ram temple will be an example of grandeur. Moreover, from a technical point of view, it will be one of the select temples in the world.

The excavated area for the construction of the temple will be filled with engineering fill in 44 layers. When the 14th return foundation is ready, a 7 feet thick raft will be built on it. To make the plinth of the 18 meter high Ram temple waterproof, three layers of granite stones will be made.

The activity of the temple’s engineering fill is targeted to be completed by 15 September 2021. The L&T company has set up three batching plants, 15 dumpers and four vibro rollers for the work. Engineering Phil is using special coarse sand coming from Mahoba and Chhatarpur.

The supply of fly ash is coming from NTPC, Unchahat. L&T has so far worked on 1.6 million cubic feet of space. A seven-foot-thick raft will be ready over the 44-return engineering fill. All kinds of design and drawing work has been completed for this.

A plinth will be built over this raft. Granite will be laid on the outside for waterproofing of 16 feet high plinth. Mirzapuri sand stone will be laid after laying three layers of two-two feet granite. Granite is being laid on this stone to minimize the effect of rain moisture.

This will help dry out the water. How many stones can be taken is calculated in the meeting. The temple can hold three lakh 60 thousand cubic feet of stone. Mirzapur and granite will also require four lakh cubic feet of stone to raise the plinth. The stone of Parakota will be four lakh cubic feet, which will come from Jodhpur.
