Pegasus will question parliamentary panel officials on the espionage issue

A parliamentary committee on IT headed by Congress leader Shashi Tharoor is likely to question top officials, including the home ministry, after revelations of phone tapping of several people using Pegasus spy software. The International Media Consortium claimed that the phone numbers of Rahul Gandhi, two Union Ministers and Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee and 30 other journalists in India were among the possible targets for hacking through Israeli spyware.
