While BJP MP Subramaniam Swamy has said that Pegasus Spyware is a company that works on a paid contract. So the question is who paid this company for tapping the phones of Indian leaders? If this money was not given by the Indian government, then who gave it? It is the responsibility of the Modi government to clarify the whole matter to the people of the country.

Parliament, on the other hand, witnessed a tumultuous day for the second day in a row. The opposition demanded that the Pegasus phone tapping case be discussed in the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha and investigated by a parliamentary committee. While the government claims that we have no hand in this and the claims of spying are false.

Congress, SP, Trinamool Congress, DMK etc. MPs were seen in Parliament with banners. However, Speaker Om Birla refused to accept the demand for a debate on the issue in Parliament.

New revelations are being made day by day in Pegasus phone tapping. Earlier, it was revealed that 300 Indians, including Rahul and Prashant Kishor, had their phones tapped. While it is now being claimed that phones belonging to the Congress and JDS government were also targeted in Karnataka in 2019.

According to a report, the alleged spying scandal is also linked to the phone tapping of the Congress and JDS government in Karnataka in 2019 and the subsequent formation of the BJP government. The phone numbers of the then Deputy Chief Minister G Parmeshwar and Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy as well as the personal secretaries of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah were the main targets.

Pegasus' Israeli NSO group, on the other hand, says that we only sell such software to governments. Amid the whole controversy, an investigation has now been launched in France as well.

The French government has launched an investigation into the phone tapping of media personnel on 10 different points. It will also look into whether privacy is actually being violated by Pegasus. The probe is being launched following reports that several international media personnel have also been targeted by Pegasus.

The Israeli company NSO Group has defended itself against allegations of spying on Pegasus Spyware, saying the allegations against us were false and that we were preparing to file a defamation suit.
