Jyotiraditya's Facebook account hacked within hours of becoming cabinet minister

New Delhi, July 8, 2021

Within hours of being sworn in as Union Minister, hackers hacked Jyotiraditya Scindia's Facebook account.

An old video of him was posted from the account, in which Jyotiraditya is seen praising the Congress. It is worth mentioning that Jyotiraditya has been made the Cabinet Minister of the Civil Aviation Department.

However, no complaint was lodged against the hacking of the account. Members of Jyotiraditya's team recovered the account immediately. According to a Hindi newspaper report, the incident took place at around 1 am and was confirmed by people close to Scindia.

In a video posted from the account, they can be seen praising Congress. However, it is not yet known who hacked the account. A team of experts is trying to find out.

Coincidentally, the same department that Jyotiraditya was given charge of was also taken over by his father during the UPA government. After being made a minister, Jyotiraditya's supporters are gathering at his residence.
