Jihadi attack conspiracy: Three more terrorists nabbed from UP

- Al Qaeda's Ansar Ghazwatul Hind terrorists confess to meeting each other

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh police on Wednesday arrested three terrorists belonging to Al Qaeda-linked terror outfit Ansar Ghazwatul Hind. He is accused of plotting a major attack in the country.

Earlier, Minhaj Ahmed and Mushiruddin were arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) on July 11, while the arrested terrorists are Mohammad Mustakim, Mohammad Moeed and Shakeel. Two of the terrorists are from Lucknow and one is from Muzaffarnagar.

The other three terrorists were identified after interrogation of the two earlier arrested terrorists, who also confessed to being linked to the previously arrested terrorists.

ADG Prashant Kumar said a terrorist named Mustakim had knowledge of the conspiracy while he also helped Minhaz and Mushiruddin. While Shakeel helped a terrorist named Minhaj.
