The opposition is constantly targeting the government during the monsoon session of Parliament. Before the parliamentary session began on Thursday, Congress MPs staged a protest near the Gandhi statue. Congress party MPs staged a protest against the agricultural law, which also involved Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.
Farmers agitators are sitting on a picket at Jantar Mantar today in protest of agricultural laws, farmers will hold a parliament there. According to farmers, they will remain on Jantar Mantar till the monsoon season lasts.

Three agricultural laws were enacted by the central government last year which are being opposed by several farmers' organizations. Protesters are gathering at Jantar Mantar from today amid the ongoing farmers' agitation on Delhi's borders.
The Congress party has been urging the central government to withdraw all the three laws. The issue is being raised in both the Houses of Parliament. The monsoon season has seen a flurry of Pegasus espionage cases, as well as agricultural laws.
