When the first cabinet was sworn in in 2014, 9 per cent of the nine ministers had declared criminal cases against them. Even in that cabinet, 51 per cent of the ministers were crorepatis, the ADR report said. According to the report, the average wealth of ministers in the new cabinet is Rs. 12.5 crore. Among the least wealthy ministers in the cabinet are Pratima Bhaumik of Tripura (Rs 3 lakh), John Barla of West Bengal (Rs 15 lakh), Kailash Chaudhary of Rajasthan (Rs 5 lakh), Bishweshwar Tudu of Odisha (Rs 3 lakh) and V. of Maharashtra. . The ADR report on the educational qualifications of the new ministers said that 21 ministers are post graduates. Nine ministers have doctoral degrees while 12 ministers are graduates and vocational graduates. Only two ministers have passed eighth standard, three tenth standard and seven 12th standard.
