After petrol-diesel, CNG and PNG prices also went up

In the country's capital and surrounding areas, the price of cooking gas supplied from CNG and pipelines after petrol has gone up. The company, which supplies CNG and pipeline cooking gas to vehicles in Delhi, has hiked the price of CNG by 50 paise per kg and cooking gas by Rs 1.5 per standard cubic meter.

In Delhi, the price of a kg of CNG has gone up from Rs 2.50 to Rs 2.50. Noida next to Delhi. In Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the price of CNG has gone up from Rs 4.05 to Rs 7.5. The prices of CNG and PNG vary from state to state as local tax rates vary.

In Delhi, the price of piped natural gas (PNG) has gone up by Rs 1.2 per standard cubic meter to Rs 4.5. While in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the price of PNG has gone up to Rs 2.81.

CNG and PNG prices have been hiked at a time when petrol and diesel prices have reached new highs due to continuous rise.

On the other hand, government oil marketing companies have also hiked petrol and diesel prices today. Today, the price of a liter of petrol has been increased by 3 paise and the price of a liter of diesel by 0.05 paise. At the same time, the price of a liter of petrol in Delhi has gone up to Rs 100.5 and a liter of diesel to Rs 7.5. In Mumbai, the price of a liter of petrol has gone up to Rs 102.5 and a liter of diesel to Rs 8.15.

The price of crude oil in the international market is hovering around ૭૩ 4. Petrol price has crossed Rs 100 in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab, Ladakh, Sikkim and Delhi. In Rajasthan, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh, diesel has also crossed Rs 100.
