Water crisis can be seen in Delhi. The country's capital is already plagued by water shortages. According to the details received then, more water crisis may be felt in Delhi from the morning of July 11. The reason for this is that the water level of Wazirabad lake has dropped. On the other hand, the water of Yamuna has been stopped from the Haryana side. Both of these factors could lead to a water crisis in Delhi.

Water crisis in Delhi

The Aam Aadmi Party is blaming the Haryana government for the crisis. According to him, the Khattar government of Haryana has not released as much water as is normally released in the Yamuna. This could lead to water shortage in Delhi now. Raghav Chadha held a press conference on the issue and said that Delhi's water supply was dependent on other states. Delhi's growing demand is being met by the Ganges, Yamuna and ground water. But for the last few days, more water is not being released into the Yamuna from Haryana, which could have an impact on Delhi in the coming days.

What is the main reason?

According to reports, water problem is likely to occur in Delhi on the morning and night of July 11. This problem will continue until the water level in the lake is right. Due to this, the coming days in Delhi may prove to be challenging. The worst affected areas are Karol Bagh, Kamala Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Rajendra Nagar, Patel Nagar, Sangam Vihar, Mulchand, Greater Kailash.

Thus, as claimed by the Aam Aadmi Party, the peak demand of Delhi is also being met by the Water Board. So far, 945 MGD of water has been provided to the people of Delhi. But now that the heat is rising and the water level is falling, the challenge may increase in the coming days.
