People in the southern parts of Bengaluru district, Ramnagar and neighboring Hosur district of Tamil Nadu were shocked to hear a mysterious sound like an explosion on Friday. A mysterious noise like an explosion was heard in Jayanagar, Anekal Bidadi, Kanarpura, Padmanabhanagar, Kangeri, Rajeshwarnagar and Hosur at 12.30 pm.

"I heard a noise when I was at home," said V Jyoti, a resident of Kumaraswamy Layout in Bengaluru. The noise was so loud that the windows and doors began to shake.

Bidadi's Jayaprakash had a similar experience. The sound was heard for three to four seconds, he said. Went out to find out where the sound came from but didn't know what the sound was. However this noise should be investigated.

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Center said in a statement that no sign of the quake was found. The Indian Air Force also denied any flying activity.

A similar mysterious voice was heard last year. However, Sonic Boom, who was on an Air Force plane at the time, was blamed for the noise. However, no such information has been provided this time.
