90640 posts of jawans and 7912 posts of officers vacant in the Indian Army

The Indian Army, which has been battling tensions and terrorism with countries like China and Pakistan, has been battling a shortage of troops and officers.

State Defense Minister Ajay Bhatt said that there are 7912 vacancies for officers and 90640 vacancies for personnel in the Indian Army.

There are 610 vacancies for officers and 7104 vacancies in the Air Force and 1190 vacancies for officers and 11927 vacancies for soldiers in the Navy.

Ajay Bhatt says the government is taking action to fill the vacancies. Efforts are being made to attract the youth to the three wings of the defense forces through publicity and recruitment fairs.

He said that motivational lectures are being organized regularly in schools-colleges and other educational institutions as well as in NCC camps. Efforts are being made by the government to make the job attractive. Consideration is also being given to change the rules of promotion for this.
