48,786 new cases of corona in the country: 1005 more deaths

New Delhi: There were 48,786 cases of corona in the country today. At the same time, the total number of corona cases in India has risen to 3,04,11,634, the Union Ministry of Health said in a statement.

Today, the death toll from the corona has risen to 1,995, bringing the total to 3,99,459. The number of people taking the vaccine has increased to 33.57 crore in ten. 19,21,450 corona were tested in the last 24 hours. For the 49th day in a row, more people have recovered than new cases. At the same time, a total of 41,20,21,494 tests of Corona have been conducted in the country so far.

More than 1,005 people have died due to corona in the last 24 hours. Of these, 221 died in Uttarakhand, 142 in Kerala, 141 in Maharashtra, 113 in Tamil Nadu and 111 in Karnataka. A total of 3,99,459 people have died in the country so far. Out of which 1,21,945 people have died in Maharashtra. 35,040 people died in Karnataka and 32,619 in Tamil Nadu.
