41,506 new cases of corona in the country, another 895 deaths: active cases below four lakh

Meetings in auditoriums and halls of Delhi schools, training exemption, teaching work in classrooms will be suspended at present.

New Delhi: There have been 41,506 new cases of corona virus in the last 24 hours in the country. While a further 895 people have died due to corona. At the same time, the total number of corona cases has increased to 3,083,7,222. While the number of active cases dropped to 4,54,118. The death toll, on the other hand, rose to 4,08,040.

In just one day, 18.43 million tests for the corona virus were performed. As a result, the total number of Tests increased to over 43 crores. While the daily positivity rate fell to 2.25 per cent which is the lowest in the last 20 days.

On the other hand, 37.60 crore doses of vaccine have been given during the national vaccination campaign across the country. Of the 895 deaths, 494 are in Maharashtra and 109 in Kerala.

The schools in Delhi have not been opened yet but the assembly halls and auditoriums of the schools will be used for training and meetings. However, the current teaching activity in schools will be suspended and online education will be provided only.

However, only 50 per cent of the staff will be allowed in such halls and auditoriums. Last week, the government also allowed the stadium and sports complex to be opened. In the meantime, however, adherence to the Corona Protocol has been made mandatory.
