Vice President Venkaiah Naidu's Twitter account has been re-verified. The 'blue tick' was suddenly removed from his account on Saturday morning. In this case, Twitter India clarified that it happened due to non-login of the account for a long time. However, within hours of the verification being removed, Twitter returned the blue tick of their account.

In the midst of all this, the government is upset over the removal of the Blue Tick from the accounts of several leaders associated with the RSS, including the Vice President, and the government is expected to take action against Twitter, sources said. It is learned that the IT ministry considers it a malicious act of Twitter and is preparing to take drastic action against it.

According to a report, the IT ministry will send a notice to Twitter today asking why the blue tick was removed from Vice President Venkaiah Naidu's Twitter account without any information. This is a disregard of India's constitutional position.

In fact, the blue tick was removed from Vice President Venkaiah Naidu's personal Twitter handle @MVenkaiahNaidu on Saturday morning. The account is verified by Blue Tick. However, the blue tick was not removed from the Vice President's Twitter handle @VPSecretariat. However, a blue tick soon appeared on Vice President Venkaiah Naidu's Twitter account.

Explaining the matter, Twitter India said, "The blue tick has been removed as the account has not been logged in for a long time." However, the Twitter accounts of all the veteran RSS leaders Suresh Joshi, Suresh Soni and Arun Kumar have not yet been verified.

In a way, there are many Twitter accounts that have not been active for many years but have a blue tick on them. The last tweet from former finance minister and late BJP leader Arun Jaitley's Twitter account was on August 7, 2019, but his account is still verified.

While Twitter rules require login in the last 6 months and only then it will be considered an active account. However, it is not necessary to tweet, retweet, like, follow, unfollow. But to keep the account active, you need to login once in 6 months and keep your profile updated.
