New Delhi: Saudi Arabia has said that due to the Corona virus epidemic, more than 60,000 people will not be allowed to perform Hajj this year, all of them citizens or residents. At the same time, it will be mandatory for all of them to have a certificate of vaccination.

The announcement was made by Saudi Arabia through a government-run Saudi press agency. He gave this information citing the decision of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Last year, nearly a thousand people already living in Saudi Arabia were selected for the Hajj. The Hajj begins in mid-July.

The Hajj ministry said only 60,000 Saudi residents and citizens would be allowed to travel this year. Only those who have been vaccinated and those under the age of 65 will be allowed to go on Hajj. There should be no symptoms of being sick other than this.

Those over the age of 65 will not be allowed to perform Hajj this year. The Hajj has been banned for the second time in a row due to the Corona virus epidemic. In general, millions of Muslims around the world participate in the Hajj every year. The Muslim community believes that Hajj should be performed at least once in a lifetime.
