New Delhi, June 10, 2021, Thursday

Priyanka Gandhi has reached her luxurious residence at Shimla to escape the scorching heat of Delhi. Here they are likely to stay for a few days.

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi arrived at a bungalow at a tourist place called Chharabda near Shimla on Wednesday evening. Where some Congress leaders also met with him. Earlier on March 10, Priyanka Gandhi also came to stay here and stayed for four days before returning. This time they are going to stay for a week. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. Surrounding security arrangements have been strengthened following their stay.

Priyanka's home is 10 km from Shimla and 8000 feet above sea level. The design of the house is mountain style. Cedar wood is used in the interior of the house. The house is surrounded by greenery and the icy mountains of the Himalayas can be seen in front. Construction of Priyanka's house on four and a half acres of land started in 2008. After two floors were built in 2011, the design was not liked and it was demolished and rebuilt. As per the rules, no one can buy land in Himachal Pradesh except the locals but the then Congress government relaxed the rules for Priyanka Gandhi.

Apart from Priyanka, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi also come here frequently to stay.
