The Indian High Commission in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, is at great risk. Pakistan's Imran Khan government has also been grossly negligent in security. India has protested against Pakistan's lax approach to the High Commission's security arrangements.

The Indian government recently asked Pakistan to investigate an alleged security breach outside the Indian High Commission. It is learned that during the last week of May, some bizarre activities were witnessed in the High Security Zone i.e. Diplomatic Enclave outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. A vehicle was parked in a restricted area for people outside the Indian High Commission. The occupants were seen unloading boxes of Covid-19 relief materials, including a PPE kit. One of them even clicked pictures while standing with the box. The Indian High Commission was seen in the background of these pictures. Notably, photography is prohibited wherever images are clicked.

It was learned that some policemen were also with the people so it is suspected that the local authorities helped in the study. Indian officials have taken the incident very seriously and called on Pakistan for an official inquiry. However, the motive behind the incident has not been revealed yet. It may be mentioned that even an ordinary Pakistani citizen has to get special permission for admission in the High Commission.
