There will be no shortage of corona vaccine in the country, ICMR says - 10 million people will be vaccinated every day in July-August

During the second wave of Corona virus, there is a shortage of vaccines in the country at present and there are many difficulties in vaccinating people between the ages of 18 and 44. This is the reason why the fight against Corona is weakening at present. According to ICMR, the shortage of vaccines in the country will be eliminated in a very short time.

ICMR Director Dr Balram Bhargava said there was no shortage of corona vaccine. By mid-July or August we will have enough doses to vaccinate one million people there every day. "We are confident that all people in the country will be vaccinated by December," he said.

The Union Health Ministry on Monday said that 21.58 crore doses of Covid 19 vaccine have been given in the country so far. He said 12,23,596 people aged 18-44 were given the first dose of the vaccine and 13,402 people were given the second dose on Monday.

The ministry said that since the beginning of the third phase of vaccination in the country, 2 crore 02 lakh 10 thousand 889 people have taken the first dose of Kovid 19 vaccine and 23 thousand 491 people have taken the second dose.
