A total of eight leopards, including five males and three females, will reach India in November after covering a total distance of 2,203 km from South Africa. Which will be housed in Kuno National Park in the Chambal river area of ​​Madhya Pradesh.

At one time there were a large number of leopards in India. However, it is now on the verge of extinction due to poaching. South Africa is ready to send the world's fastest leopard to India. In grasslands, leopards can run at a speed of 115 kilometers per hour.

The world's highest number of 7,000 leopards is found mostly in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. The last time a leopard was seen in India was recorded in 18-2. According to a BBC report, the head of India's Wildlife Institute, Dr. "A national park and two sanctuaries have been selected in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for the rehabilitation of leopards," Yadav was quoted as saying.

At the present stage, the leopard will be kept in Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. However, wildlife experts are advocating for the rehabilitation of leopards in Mukundra Hills, Rajasthan, which is currently protected as a tiger sanctuary. In the next five years, we plan to import 30 leopards.
