The effects of the second wave of the Koro epidemic in the country are fading. Corona's daily cases and deaths have dropped significantly. The number of daily corona cases in the country fell to 1.18 lakh on Sunday, the lowest in the last 20 days. With this, the total number of cases of Corona came to 4.5 crore. The death toll from the corona rose to 2.4 on Sunday, the lowest in three days. The total death toll was 4.5 lakh. The number of active cases has also come down to less than 12 lakh. Meanwhile, the lockdown in Haryana has been extended till June 15, while curfew has been lifted in all but four districts in Uttar Pradesh.

The health ministry said the daily positivity rate also fell to 7.5 per cent as the corona erupted, falling below 10 per cent for the 17th day in a row. The weekly positivity rate also declined to 7.5 per cent. The number of active corona cases in the country also declined to 13,8,8, which was 4.17 per cent of the total corona cases, while the national recovery rate improved to 7.5 per cent. Corona's active case has dropped by 4.5 cases in the last three hours. For the 7th consecutive day in the country, the number of patients recovering from the new daily cases of corona has increased. A total of 25 million patients have recovered from the Koro epidemic.

The health ministry said the states and union territories have more than 1.5 crore doses of the corona vaccine. The central government has provided a total of more than 20 million doses to the states through the free and direct purchase by the states category, out of which 25 million doses have been consumed, including waste. More than 2.15 lakh doses of corona vaccine have been given in the country through 2.5 lakh sessions.

Meanwhile, a scheme like Lucky Draw, which is being run abroad, is now underway in India to create awareness among the people about corona vaccination. The district administration of Bhopal has made preparations for this. In Bhopal, the scheme of providing mobile phones through lucky draw will be implemented in the areas where vaccination is low. The rate of vaccination is very low in the rural areas of Bhopal district due to the spread of many misinformation about the vaccine. The local body is working on a plan to provide mobile phones through a lucky draw to promote vaccination. The agency also held talks with mobile manufacturers.

In Haryana, meanwhile, the government has extended the lockdown till June 15 as part of a precautionary measure as corona cases have declined and recovery rates have improved and a vaccination drive is underway. However, the government has eased sanctions. In addition, shops, malls, restaurants, bars and places of worship are allowed to open under certain conditions and rules. Uttar Pradesh, on the other hand, has also been declared curfew-free for all but four districts due to a significant drop in corona cases. Shops and markets will be open from Monday in many places, including Noida, under the rules. 90% of employees will also be able to attend government offices.
