More than 400 million people in India have been vaccinated against coronavirus so far. However, this is a very small number given the total population of the country. There is an urgent need to speed up the vaccination campaign. Is also being considered. The indication was given by Dr NK Arora, chairman of the Immunization Advisory Team at the National Technical Advisory Group.
According to the information received, it is planned to study the results of one vaccine in a few weeks by combining the dose of one vaccine and the dose of another vaccine. As the need for vaccines grows, the Serum Institute has decided to produce 100 to 150 million vaccine doses in June, which is more than 50 per cent of the current level. Bharat Biotech will also increase production of Kovexin by the end of July. It is estimated that 40 to 50 million vaccine doses are available in India every month. If other manufacturing units or doses from abroad are added to this, an additional 5 to 6 crore doses will be available. (Symbolic image)
