The BJP received an electoral trust donation of Rs 276 crore in 2013-2014

The BJP took 76.45 per cent of the total donations

New Delhi: According to a recent ADR report, the BJP received Rs 4.5 crore from the Electoral Trust in 2014-15. During the same period, the Congress received Rs 3 crore. Top donors include JSW, Apollo Tires, Indiabulls, Delhi International Airport, DLF Group.

JSW Steel Ltd. The highest donation of Rs 2.10 crore was made by The BJP has received 3.15 per cent of the total donations received by all parties. The amount is Rs 4.5 crore. Which is four times more than the donation received by Congress. The Congress received Rs 3 crore, which is 12.5 per cent of the total donations. The donation was made to all parties by seven electoral trusts.

The other 14 political parties like Aam Aadmi Party, SHS, SP, Yuva Jan Jagruti Party, Jannayak Party, JDU, JMM, LJP, INLD, JKNC, RLD all received a total donation of Rs 3 crore. However, compared to the year 2014-15, the donations received by the BJP have come down drastically. In 2014-15, the BJP got Rs 3 crore. Donations to Congress have also declined. The Congress got Rs 3 crore in 2016-17. Which has come down to 3 crores. Surprisingly, TRSA has also lagged behind Congress in getting donations this year. TRS received a donation of Rs 150 crore.
