States still have 1.65 crore doses of vaccine: Center

Various states and union territories of the country still have 1.65 crore doses of corona vaccine.

The Union Health Ministry said on Saturday that 24 crore doses have been provided to states and union territories so far.

A total of 22,65,08,508 doses were consumed, including discarded doses.

So far, 24,30,09,080 doses of the vaccine have been provided free of cost to the States and Union Territories through direct purchases by the Government of India and the states, the ministry added.
