MUMBAI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is probing the Antilia blast case and Mansukh Hiren murder case, was taken to the Goregaon dumping site on Friday on suspicion of destroying important evidence and dumping it at the site.

Sources in the agency said that the three accused were taken to the spot as the investigation into the accused had revealed the information. The agency also seized computers and printers from the office of encounter specialist Pradeep Sharma's voluntary organization on Thursday.

The investigation revealed that the accused were actively involved in Hiren's murder and they had called Sachin Waze and Pradeep Sharma. More technical and digital evidence is being gathered to strengthen the case, the source said.

Sharma and co-accused Satish Mothkuri and Manish Soni were arrested on Thursday. The investigation revealed that on March 4, 2021, Vaze and Sunil Mane handed over Hiren to Mothkuri, Soni and Gau, two accused Santosh Shelar and Anand Jadhav.

The accused allegedly strangled him in the vehicle. His body was found in Mumbra Bay the next day. The SUV found with the explosives outside Mukesh Ambani's residence Antilia belonged to Mansukh Hiren. Hiren's body was found in the bay on the day of the incident.
