In the country, 6 cases of Delta Plus variant have been reported in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala, out of which Maharashtra has the highest number of 12 cases. At this point all three states are told how to deal with the Delta Plus variant. We do not expect the Delta Plus variant to grow. On the other hand, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that 21 cases of Delta Plus variant have been reported in Maharashtra, out of which two were found in Mumbai and one in Thane. The highest number of nine cases of Delta Plus variant has been reported in Ratnagiri, seven in Jalna and one each in Palghar and Sindhudurg. In India, a historic 3.05 lakh doses were given by the central government on the first day of the free vaccination campaign, but the second day saw a drop in public enthusiasm. However, a total of 2.12 crore doses of corona vaccine have been given in the country so far. On June 21, out of the record 3.07 lakh doses of the vaccination campaign, 9 per cent were given in rural areas while 4.5 per cent were given in urban areas.
