On the other hand, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that 21 cases of Delta Plus variant have been reported in Maharashtra, out of which two were found in Mumbai and one in Thane. The highest number of nine cases of Delta Plus variant has been reported in Ratnagiri, seven in Jalna and one each in Palghar and Sindhudurg.
