Preparations for cabinet expansion, list prepared at the fifth meeting


New Delhi: Union cabinet expansion may be done soon. There are reports that a decision has been taken on which new minister to include in the cabinet and who to exclude.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with BJP president JP Nadda, Union Minister Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari. There are reports that a new list of cabinets has been prepared. However, no official announcement has been made. Union Minister DV Sadananda Gowda and state minister Muralitharan were also present at the fifth meeting, which was held late last night.

The Prime Minister's residence has so far won five seats on cabinet expansion, each of which was attended by BJP president Nadda. Earlier, Modi had a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Jitender Singh. The list that is currently being prepared is likely to be officially announced soon.
