Petrol in seven states and diesel in Rajasthan cross Rs 100


Petrol was hiked by 27 paise and diesel by 23 paise

Ganganagar: After petrol, now diesel prices have crossed Rs 100. In Rajasthan, the price of a liter of diesel has reached Rs 100. While the price of petrol has reached Rs 100 in Karnataka, Karnataka has become the seventh state to have a liter of petrol at Rs 100. This means that the price of petrol has gone up to Rs 100 in six states earlier.

Prices in Rajasthan and Karnataka have crossed the 100 mark due to hike in petrol and diesel prices. The new hike currently includes 27 paise per liter for petrol and 23 paise per liter for diesel. At the same time, the price of petrol in Delhi has reached an all-time high of Rs 96.12. Similarly, the price of diesel has also reached Rs 86.98.

The states where petrol price has reached Rs 100 so far include Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Ladakh. Now it includes Karnataka. With the new price hike, the price of petrol in Karnataka has crossed Rs 100. So far, the price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 but now diesel has become just as expensive.

In Ganganagar on the Indo-Pakistan border in Rajasthan, the price of petrol used to cross Rs 100, while now the price of diesel has crossed Rs 100. In Ganganagar, petrol is currently being sold at Rs 107 per liter. For the first time in the country, the price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 in seven states and now diesel has become just as expensive.
