Leading US lawmakers have called on the Biden administration to take steps to stop the deportation of more than 200,000 young Indians. It is worth mentioning that these two lakh youths are mostly the children of H-1B visa holders.

Leading American MP Deborah Ross and Indian-American MP Dr. Nine lawmakers, led by Bera, have written to Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Alexandro Myox.

The letter requested that these Indian youths, who had spent their childhood and adolescence in the United States, settle in the United States as dependents. This young man is known as a document dreamer.

The letter urges young people facing extradition to stay in the United States. Trump canceled a DAC program introduced by Obama to prevent deportation to the United States as a minor.

In the US so far children dependent on parental visas have become young and their parents have been waiting for a greencard for years.
