Mob lynching with youths carrying cows in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, one killed

In Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district, late on Sunday night, some people attacked two youths on their way to Madhya Pradesh with cows. One youth was killed and another was injured in the attack. Some people have been taken into custody in this case.

According to the police, the victim was going to his village in Madhya Pradesh with 3 oxen from Begu village for agricultural work. At midnight on June 13-14, near Bilkhanda Char Rasta in Chittorgarh district, some people attacked him with sticks, accusing him of smuggling cows.

According to Chittorgarh police officer Deepak Bhargava, the injured youths were admitted to the hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. 7-8 people have been taken into custody in this case. The youths had bought oxen for agricultural work but they did not have any documents so the cattle traders have been called to check.
