Mamata challenged Subhendu's victory in Nandigram in the High Court

Kolkata, Ta. 13

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who lost the election from Nandigram, filed an application in the Calcutta High Court on Thursday challenging the entire election process for the Nandigram seat. The matter will be heard tomorrow. After the defeat in Nandigram, Mamata said she would go to court on the issue. Mamata had left her safe seat in Bhawanipur to contest from Nandigram, but the BJP's Shubhendu official won the seat. Reacting to Mamata's move to the High Court, BJP leader Amit Malviya said, "How can you lose an election twice?" First in the election and then again in the court like a loser challenging the referendum. '
