Jammu and Kashmir terrorists infiltrate home, kill SPO and his family

The militants broke into the house of SPO Fayyaz Ahmed late at night at Tral in Jammu and Kashmir and opened fire on his family. The attack left SPO Fayyaz and his wife dead at night and the injured daughter succumbed to her injuries on Monday morning.

Around 11:00 pm, some militants broke into the house of SPO Fayyaz Ahmed and attacked him. The militants fired indiscriminately at him, his wife Reza Begum and daughter Rafia. Fayyaz Ahmed, 41, his wife and daughter were rushed to hospital in a critical condition. However, the SPO and his wife died on the way. His daughter was hospitalized in a critical condition but died Monday morning.

SPO Fayyaz of Avantipora lived with his family at Hariparigam Tral in south Kashmir's Pulwama district. The militants broke into his house at night and started firing. On Monday morning the SPO and his wife were buried in their village at Hariparigam and hundreds of people attended their janaza.

Security forces have cordoned off the area following the terrorist attack and are searching for the terrorists.
