India became stronger to respond to China on the LAC

Ladakh, Ta. 13

A year after 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a fierce clash with Chinese troops in the Galvan Valley, Indian defense forces have strengthened their grip on the entire Ladakh region through a number of initiatives and built infrastructure to enhance connectivity on the LAC.

Tensions between India and China are still high at a time when the Galvan Valley violence in Ladakh is coming to an end. After the withdrawal of Chinese and Indian troops from Pangong Tso Lake, the deployment of troops in other areas has remained the same. However, during this time India has achieved a strong position at the military and air force level to counter any possible attack by China on the LAC.

The post has been strengthened at all levels in the Armed Forces, including the Indian Army and Air Force. The biggest achievement for India in the Ladakh sector is the significant improvement in infrastructure. Because now India has increased road connectivity for all front posts. Whether it is the Jozilla Pass or the world's newest high-altitude road, Umaling La, Marsmic La or Khardung La, it has been opened for the transport of troops within a year with the help of the Border Roads Organization.

The Indian Army has strengthened its deployment in the LAC along with Ladakh, as it has now rearranged an additional strike corps on the northern border of Ladakh to confront China and has assigned 14 Mountain Strike Corps in charge of the entire northeastern states. The Indian Air Force has also strengthened itself with the arrival of its Rafale fighter jets in two months. The fleets of MiG-8 and Sukhoi-20 with Raphael have dominated the northern borders. In addition a second squadron or aircraft will be ready for operation by the end of this month. Apart from this, the defense forces have built shelters for soldiers in remote areas of the Himalayas. So now neither China nor any other enemy can surprise us in any way.
