In Andhra, Telangana and Leh, petrol jumped to Rs 100


Rajasthan levies maximum VAT on petrol, so prices have gone beyond Rs 100.

New Delhi: Following the hike in petrol prices on Friday, it has now crossed Rs 100 per liter in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Leh. In Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, it has gone up to Rs 100 per liter. Petrol price has been hiked by 27 paise per liter, while diesel by 28 paise per liter.

This is the 18th increase in petrol and diesel prices in the country in the last one month. In Delhi, petrol has been sold at an all-time high of Rs 94.76 per liter, while diesel is priced at Rs 85.66 per liter.

Retail prices have risen as fuel prices have risen in the international market. Crude prices have risen above 71 71 per barrel for the first time in two years. In places like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Leh, liquid fuel prices are hitting unprecedented heights due to continuous price hikes.

In almost all the districts of Andhra Pradesh, petrol is being sold at more than Rs 100 per liter. In Vizag district alone, it costs Rs 99.75, while diesel is sold at Rs 94.08 per liter.

In Adilabad, Telangana, petrol is priced at Rs 100.75 per liter, while in Nizamabad, it is being sold at Rs 100.17 per liter. In Leh, a liter of petrol costs Rs 100.43.

The most expensive petrol in the country is being sold at Rs 105.81 a liter in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, where diesel is priced at Rs 98.64 a liter. In Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, petrol is priced at Rs 105.18 per liter, while diesel is priced at Rs 96.31 per liter.
