New delhi date. 3

The Gautam Gambhir Foundation has been found guilty of illegally hoarding, buying and distributing the drug Fabiflu, used in the treatment of Kovid-12 patients, the Delhi government's drug controller told the Delhi High Court.

The Drug Controller said that action should be taken against the Foundation Drug Foundation and drug dealers without any delay. MLA Praveen Kumar has also been convicted of similar offenses under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

The Delhi High Court has directed to file a status report on the progress of the cases within three weeks and the next hearing of the case is scheduled for July 7.

The Delhi High Court had on May 5 directed the Drug Controller to investigate the large-scale procurement of drugs by leaders amid a shortage of drugs used in the treatment of Covid-12.

The court said the BJP MP was distributing drugs with good intentions though his sentiment was unknowingly offended. The Delhi High Court has directed the Delhi Drugs Controller to investigate similar allegations of AAP MLAs Preeti Tomar and Praveen Kumar buying and depositing oxygen and submit a status report.

A bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Jasmeet Singh said that while there was a shortage of medicines, it should be investigated how a single person got 2,000 leaves of the medicine.
