For the first time since the peak of Corona's second wave, daily cases have dropped to a million, with 2,427 deaths


14 lakh active cases in the country, 15 lakh tests in 24 hours

Corona vaccine will now be available near home in Delhi, malls and markets opened with odd-even method

New Delhi: The number of daily cases of corona virus in India is declining rapidly. The second wave of Corona reached four lakh daily cases of Corona, now approaching one lakh. In the last 24 hours, only one lakh new cases of corona have been reported. At the same time, the number of active cases has come down to 14 lakh. Corona, on the other hand, has killed more than 2,427 people.

The total number of deaths due to corona in the country has reached 3.49 lakh. Finally, on April 6, 96,982 new cases of corona were reported. While currently 1,00,636 new cases have come up which is the lowest in the last 61 days. A total of 15.87 lakh corona tests were conducted on Sunday. So far, a total of 36.63 crore Corona tests have been done. The daily positivity rate has also come down to 6.34 per cent.

The Delhi government, on the other hand, has now taken the initiative to go door-to-door to vaccinate people over the age of 45. Corona vaccination has been started in as many polling stations as there are in Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the move was taken to ensure that people get the corona vaccine near their homes.

If corona vaccine is available, people between the ages of 18 and 45 will also be included later for the vaccine given at the polling booth. In Delhi, markets and malls have also been opened on a one-to-one basis. Currently, the lockdown will be in force in Delhi till June 14, but at the same time, other facilities ranging from metro trains have also been started.
