Fight between Himachal CM Jairam Thakur's security personnel and police

Shimla: As soon as Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari reached Kullu, the Himachal Police's disciplinary claim poll was exposed. Just when Gadkari arrived, a scuffle broke out outside Bhuntar airport between police chief Gaurav Singh and Chief Minister Jairam Thakur's security officials.

As Chief Minister Jairam Thakur's vehicle was behind Nitin Gadkari's convoy, security officer Vrijesh Sood had a dispute with police chief Gaurav Singh outside Bhuntar airport. Gaurav Singh got angry and slapped the Chief Minister's security officer Vrujesh Sood. When the Chief Minister's security officials came to know about this, he too got enraged and clashed with the police chief. Jairam Thakur was sitting in the car when the incident took place.

He has ordered an inquiry into the whole incident and asked for a report within three days. In order to meet Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, officials of the Forlane-affected farmers' union went to Bhuntar to meet him. Nitin Gadkari had no such program. So they suddenly stopped there. Forlane influencers presented their case to him.

Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and his security personnel were left behind due to lack of proper arrangements in the convoy. When the Chief Minister arrived, Nitin Gadkari sat in the car. Vrijesh Sood raised an objection against Gaurav Singh over this. Then a scuffle broke out between the two and the scuffle escalated into a brawl.

DGP Sanjay Kundu has taken note of the scuffle between the Chief Minister's security personnel and a police officer. They will get the details of the whole chronology. He has handed over the investigation of the incident to Central Range DIG Madhusudan.
