With the conclusion of the all-party meeting on Jammu and Kashmir, discussions on reshuffle and expansion in the Modi Council of Ministers have once again gained momentum. The 27 potential leaders, including Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sushil Modi, Sarbananda Sonowal, Narayan Rane and Bhupendra Yadav, could be part of the ongoing massive reshuffle and expansion of the Union Cabinet.

Among the new ministers likely to be sworn in in the Narendra Modi government is Madhya Pradesh Congress veteran Scindia, who is now in the BJP. Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi, BJP's senior organizing party general secretary Bhupendra Yadav from Rajasthan and Kailash Vijayvargiya from Madhya Pradesh, who were in charge of the BJP's campaign in West Bengal. BJP spokesperson and minority face Syed Zafar Islam could also play a role in the central government.

Apart from former Assam CM Sarvanand Sonowal and former Maharashtra CM Narayan Rane, the daughters of Maharashtra Beed MPs Pritam Munde and Gopinath Munde are also on the main list. The names of Uttar Pradesh BJP UP president Swatanter Dev Singh, of course Maharajganj MP Pankaj Chaudhary, Varun Gandhi and alliance partner Anupriya Patel are also among the names likely.

Rajya Sabha MP Anil Jain, Odisha MP Ashwini Vaishnav and Baijayant Panda and former Bengal Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi are also on the list. Jain is also the president of the All India Tennis Association. Former Union Minister P.P. Chaudhary, Churu to the state's youngest MP, Rahul Kaswa and Sikar MP Sumedhanand Saraswati are also among the potential. The only face of Delhi could be New Delhi MP Meenakshi Lekhi.

Rajya Sabha MP Rajiv Chandrasekhar could represent Karnataka in the Modi cabinet. Gujarat BJP president C.R. Patil, Kirit Solanki, MP from Ahmedabad West and Sunita Duggal, MP from Sirsa, Haryana are also among the possible candidates. Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, who was impressed by the speech, is also being considered.

Sirita MP from Haryana Sunita Duggal, a former income tax official, is also among the possible people. Ladyang MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, who was impressed by the speech, is also being considered. The untimely demise of leaders like Ram Vilas Paswan and Suresh Angadi and the exit from the Akali Dal and Shiv Sena cabinets have necessitated a cabinet reshuffle.

The forthcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh are also a factor in the expansion and reshuffle of the Modi cabinet and with the entry of Bhupendra Yadav, a strong organizational face, some additional faces need to be added to the government. This will be the first expansion since PM Modi came to power in 2019.
