Dilip Kumar suffers from bilateral pleural effusion, currently on oxygen support

Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to Mumbai's PD Hinduja Hospital this morning with difficulty in breathing. He is currently under the care of doctors. His wife Saira Banu tweeted from Dilip Kumar's Twitter handle that Dilip Saheb has been admitted to the hospital for routine tests. Now Dilip Kumar's health update has come out.

According to media reports, Dilip Kumar's lungs are flooded. Dilip Saheb's doctor Jalil Parkar said he has been kept on oxygen support and is suffering from bilateral pleural effusion. In addition, their oxygen level is declining.

The doctor further said that Dilip Kumar's condition is stable and he is not in ICU. If he is in good health, he will be discharged in 2-3 days. The actor was also admitted to the hospital last month and was discharged two days later.
