Even after the death of former Bihar MP Shahabuddin, his name is still under discussion. The controversy is related to his grave which is located in the largest cemetery in Delhi. The cemetery is located at ITO. During the first and second wave of the Corona, there was very little space left in the cemetery to bury the bodies of those who had died from covid, and the management committee constantly instructed the people not to make paki graves.

During the Koro era, there was a situation in Delhi where if there was a lack of space for cremation in the cemetery, a platform had to be set up in the park and service area to burn the cheetahs.

Former MP Shahabuddin's grave was being laid in the largest cemetery in the capital Delhi. The cemetery committee immediately tried to stop him by noticing and the police were called. Is there a separate rule for a former MP when no one is generally allowed to build a paki grave?

The cemetery committee enacted a law in 1992 banning any graves. The committee has recently demanded an inquiry into who is behind the construction.

Shahabuddin, who was serving a life sentence in Tihar Jail, died on May 1 due to a coronary heart disease. Shahabuddin's family wanted to take his body to his ancestral village at Sivan for burial but he was not allowed to do so and had to be buried in the cemetery at Delhi Gate.
