Complaint against leader involved in 3 state water lists at Jhansi, inquiry order

The Uttar Pradesh Election Commission has received a very surprising complaint from Jhansi. According to the complaint, one person has water in 3 places only in Jhansi. Not only that, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh also have water. He has won the election from the third place without removing his name from the water list. Based on the present complaint, the State Election Commission has ordered an inquiry by the Jhansi District Collector and sought an investigation report.

During the recent three-tier panchayat elections, Kalicharan, who lives in Babi's block, had lodged a complaint with the state election commission with the evidence of Charan Singh Yadav, a two-time block president from Moth block of Jhansi. A complaint has been lodged with the Election Commission alleging that Charan Singh, a two-time block president from Mouth, has won the constituency panchayat election this time from Bobby's block. Charan Singh has also made himself a voter of Badaura.

Charan Singh's name is also included in the Budhavali water list of Moth, in the water list of Jhansi Municipal Corporation's Ward No. 57 CP Mission Compound and also in the water list at Prithvipur in Niwadi district of Madhya Pradesh. Charan Singh has not removed his name from the water list of any place and has won the election from a constituency panchayat seat in Bobby's block.

Following the receipt of the 4-page complaint, the State Election Commission has sought a report from the DM of Jhansi and a detailed report from the concerned departments of the DMA of Jhansi within 3 days.

Who is Charan Singh?

Charan Singh considers himself a cousin of Deep Narayan Singh, a former SP MLA at Garutha. FIRs have been registered against him not only in Mouth, Sipri Bazar and Kotwali police stations in Jhansi but also in Hazratganj in Lucknow, Manesar in Haryana and Bhagwa in Chhatarpur.
