There is a huge controversy over the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the certificate obtained after the corona vaccination. Now, Mamata Banerjee's government in West Bengal has decided that in the third phase of vaccination planned by the state, people between the ages of 18 and 44 will be given certificates with a picture of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee after vaccination.

Just a few months ago, the TMC criticized the BJP and Prime Minister Modi for taking a photo of Prime Minister Modi on a vaccination certificate. Now, the Mamata government has decided to take this step. The TMC had also lodged a complaint with the Election Commission on the issue during the 2021 Bengal Assembly elections. The TMC termed the picture of Prime Minister Modi on the certificate obtained after the vaccination as a violation of the code of conduct.

Mamata Banerjee has repeatedly demanded that everyone get the vaccine for free. He also criticized Prime Minister Modi for taking a picture of him on the vaccination certificate. However, the TMC feels that there is nothing wrong with having a picture of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on the vaccination certificate. "The BJP has done this before and if they can do it, we can do it," said TMC's Saugat Roy. If he didn't, we wouldn't.

However, the BJP is outraged by the TMC government's decision. According to senior BJP leader and state spokesperson Samik Bhattacharya, the TMC is not accepting the dignity of the PM's post. TMC is behaving like a separate dependent country. The TMC is not ready to believe that where those people are is a state of India.
