For the first time since the split in the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Chirag Paswan has sought help from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chirag Paswan said that if 'Hanuman' is being killed, then it is not right for Ram to remain silent. Chirag Paswan hopes that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will mediate on the issue of internal disintegration of the Lok Sabha. It may be mentioned that during the recent Bihar Assembly elections, Chirag called himself the 'Hanuman' of Prime Minister Modi.

Chirag Paswan said that watching Hanuman silently does not adorn Rama. Our party has always sided with the BJP but today when we are in trouble the BJP leaders have maintained silence. I hope Prime Minister Modi will moderate.

"We are confident that the Prime Minister will soon intervene and resolve the issue," he said. In an earlier interview, he had said that the BJP could not be loved unilaterally.

Meanwhile, he said, trusting Kaka Pashupati Paras is the biggest mistake. I trusted my family like a father who has to pay the price. In LJP, party MPs have also sided with Pashupati Kumar Paras and Chirag in the battle for control of the party.
