Government sources claim amid complaints of lack of vaccine

The target for vaccinating 940 million people over the age of 18 will be 133 million doses after August.

New Delhi: With some states complaining of shortage of vaccines, central government sources have claimed that all adults in the country will be vaccinated against corona by the end of this year. This will require a dose of about Rs 187 crore.

Government sources claim that the corona vaccine will be delivered to the country's 940 million population by the end of this year. All adults over the age of 18 will be vaccinated against corona. It was also claimed that India would have 536 million doses from January to July. While the supply will reach 133.6 crore in August-December.

Currently more and more companies are excited about the production of corona vaccine. India is in talks with foreign companies Pfizer and Modern as well as Johnson & Johnson to import the vaccine. Once approved, the vaccination campaign will intensify as the number of vaccines will also increase.
