At least 10 people have been killed in an accident in Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district

A major accident took place near Bagh Pashog village in the backward area of ​​Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh on Monday. A Bolero car fell into a ditch, killing 10 people and injuring two others. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced financial assistance of Rs 2-2 lakh from PMNRF to the families of those killed in the accident and Rs 50,000 to the injured.

All these people were going to Bakras with their lives. As soon as the accident was reported, the villagers rushed to the spot and tried to rescue the people. However, the accident was so serious that most of the passengers died on the spot. A team of administration and police rushed to the spot as soon as the accident was reported. After which 10 corpses have been exhumed from the pit. Police are currently conducting a search operation.

Most of the people in the jeep were young

Police say most of the youths were in the jeep and preliminary investigations suggest the driver lost control of the jeep due to high speed, which led to the accident. Meanwhile, according to Pavata Saheb's DSP Veer Bahadur, 10 people have been killed. However, it was not immediately clear how many people were in the jeep.
