Arya Sumant Chandrasekhar of popular Ramayana serial passed away at the age of 7 years

Actor Chandrasekhar, who once played the role of Arya Sumant in the most popular TV serial Ramayana, has died at the age of eight. Chandrasekhar's son Professor Ashok Chandvashekhar confirmed that his father died at 9 am on Wednesday. According to information received, late Chandrasekhar was cremated at Vile Parle Cemetery in the afternoon. The popular artist of Ramayana did not have any special illness but died due to his condition. Born on July 6, 19, Chandrasekhar's life was full of hard work and struggle.

He got married at the young age of only 19 and had to drop out of 8th standard. Chandrasekhar also did jobs like patrolling and pulling lorries at one time for a living. Chandrasekhar was not only an artist, he also took part in the Quit India movement, so he was also a freedom fighter. Chandrasekhar ventured into the post-independence Hindi film industry. He started his acting career in 19th with producer V Shantaram's film Teri Meri Kahani. Black Hat Red Handkerchief, Biradari Street Singer and Rustam were notable films in terms of Baghdad acting. Chandrasekhar Kati Patang, Vasant Vihar and Sharabi also had a bright spot of acting.

Ramanand Sagar was 7 years old when he was selected for the role of Sumant for the popular Doordarshan serial Ramayana. In Rama's Ayodhyanagari, Arya Sumant's character was a symbol of loyalty, discipline and dedication. He was a faithful companion of King Dasharatha, who was suffering from Rama's bereavement. Although the role of Arya Sumant in Ramayana is relatively short, everyone remembers it because of the effectiveness that Chandrasekhar played. Well known TV actor Shakit Arora happens to be his close relative. Shakit got good popularity from Rishto Ka Show in return for the series. Shakit posted a picture of herself with her younger brother Chandrasekhar on Instagram.
