Angry farmers are throwing mangoes on the road as prices are not getting right. Producers in Kolar district of Karnataka threw several quintals of mangoes on the road.

In Karnataka, traders and farmers are protesting by throwing mangoes on the road as they are not getting the right price. Nilaturu Tinappa Reddy, president of the Kolar District Mango Growers' Association, said mango growers were in crisis due to the devastating loss. There is no help from the government. Farmers threw several kilos of mangoes on the road in Srinivasapura of the district.

Reddy said mango production has tripled this year. Because it has rained without time. As a result, many diseases and pests are being seen in mangoes. Carrie is currently undergoing an anthracnose fungus infection. Mango prices have seen a big bang from above. As a result, farmers and traders have to suffer three times.

At one time, mango prices were skyrocketing, but now it has plummeted. Similar effects are being felt in other states like Karnataka. On the other hand, organizations affiliated to the Mango Production and Sales Union are demanding compensation of Rs 50,000 per hectare from the state government.
