Ghaziabad police have also registered an FIR against a local Samajwadi Party activist on the second day of filing an FIR against nine people, including Swara Bhaskar, on Twitter in connection with the dissemination of a 'communal video' of an alleged attack on an elderly Muslim by some youths. It is alleged that the police also allowed the misleading video clip to be circulated on Facebook without trying to verify it. However, Facebook has not been named as an accused in the FIR. Police have accused Samajwadi Party leader Umaid Pahelwan Idrisi of disturbing the peace by circulating videos on social media. SP activist Idrisi viralized a video on his Facebook account that disturbed peace in the society.
