Ayodhya Mayor Hrishikesh Upadhyay's nephew claims to have struck land deal

Ayodhya: Two more land deals have been disputed in Ayodhya. It is being claimed that crores of rupees have been lost in the two land deals done by the nephew of the Ayodhya mayor. The land purchased by the Shriram Mandir Trust in Ayodhya is claimed to be in dispute.

Deep Narayan Upadhyay, nephew of Ayodhya Mayor Hrishikesh Upadhyay, had struck two land deals. Deep Narayan bought a land three months ago for Rs 20 lakh and sold the same land to the Ram Mandir Trust for Rs 2.5 crore. The second land was worth Rs 27 lakh. It was sold for one crore.

The price of land in Ayodhya is Rs 4,000 per square meter. The price of 14,774 per square meter of land was claimed in the land deal.

It was alleged that Anil Mishra, a member of the trust, was a witness in the controversial land deal. The land deal was struck on May 11, 2021. The land was purchased by Deep Narayan on February 20, 2021. In just three months, the land was claimed to have been sold at such a high price.
